During the week the OMX Helsinki 25 (OMXH25) index has increased by 1.88 % from 2958.20 to 3013.96. The number of stocks which have gained in value over the week is 81. The number of stocks which faced a decrease in value over the week is 62. The overall turnover throughout the week is 1 507 756 012. Comparing to the previous stock exchange week the overall turnover has decreased by 24.7 %. Two major week winners are TJ Group and Solteq. Two week losers are Soprano and F-Secure.
 
Metso (MEO1V) is a global engineering and technology corporation, which works in the pulp and paper industry, rock and minerals processing, the energy industry and selected other industries. Its share prices increased by 5.05% this week and reached a value of 40.95 EUR per share. This can be explained by more then 10 EUR million worth order to supply a new, energy-efficient thermo-mechanical pulping line to Holmen Paper's Braviken mill in Sweden.
 
Stora Enso R (STERV) is an integrated paper, packaging, and forest products company, which produces publication and fine paper, packaging board and wood products.Its share prices increased by 3.86% this week and reached a value of 13.06 EUR per share. This can be explained by a signed a loan agreement with the European Investment Bank for a EUR 140 million loan facility to finance part of Stora Enso’s investment in research and development in Finland and Sweden for the next five years.
 
Biotie Therapies (BTH1V) is a drug development biotechnology company whose share prices have decreased by 5.72% this week. The price of the share is 1 EUR. Main reason for decrease in prices is net loss of 9 million euros in 2006.
 
F-Secure (FSC1V) is the biggest loser of this week in Helsinki Stock Market. The price of their share have decreased by 17.58% and reached the price of 2.16 EUR per share. Nevertheless the sales volume is one of the highest - 497 219 shares. F-Secure Corporation protects consumers and businesses against computer viruses and other threats from the Internet and mobile networks. The reason for decrease is loss of 4.8 millions of euros from Network control.
