The SSE Riga Investment Fund

The SSE Riga Investment Fund is one of the oldest and most established student organizations at SSE Riga, consisting of active, energetic and ambitious students from the Baltic States. The Investment Fund is coordinated by the managing board, which consists of 5 members appointed via annual elections and more than forty other students who help to organize the Investment Game. The mission of the Investment Fund is to create opportunities for in-depth finance education beyond the university's regular curriculum through the application of knowledge to practice.

The organization achieves this in a variety of ways:

• Organizing the Investment Game, an international interactive online stock market simulation.
• Trading and managing the portfolio while investing in the most attractive companies in the Baltic States and the rest of the world by using different types of investment possibilities such as stocks, bonds, options, and ETFs.
• Organizing Investment Unlimited, a unique competition for SSE Riga students to deepen their knowledge of economics and finance
• Awarding scholarships to the best performing SSE Riga students.
• Arranging guest lectures and seminars for SSE Riga students on relevant topics in economics and finance.
